Pinot Noir is not a variety we take lightly at Boeger. Grown at 2,625 feet on our Pinot Grande vineyard, this rosé carries the cool elevation and mineral character of the Sierra Foothills in every sip. Made by direct-to-press whole cluster processing, it is about freshness and precision, a wine that captures a single moment in a single place, best enjoyed exactly as it is.
This vintage of Primitivo Rosé is exceptionally darker in color, displaying much more fruity flavors and bolder mouthfeel than our previous vintage. While there are many ways to make a rosé, the pink color in this wine occurs naturally by soaking the juice with the skins of the grape for 24 hours. Pair with a soft cheese or a fresh summer salad with ripe strawberries.
